Meet Alex Nita, Owner & Operator
My name is Alex Nita, and I started A&N Construction and Excavation because I believe there's a better way to do business in this industry. Too many contractors overpromise and underdeliver. I wanted to build a company where the owner is on the job site, where communication is clear, and where the work speaks for itself.
I'm personally involved in every project we take on. When you call A&N, you're talking to me — not a call center, not a project manager you'll never meet. I'll be the one walking your site, discussing the scope of work, and making sure the finished product is something we're both proud of.
What Sets Us Apart
We own our equipment.
We don't rent machines and pass the cost on to you. Our fleet of excavators, skid steers, dump trucks, and compaction equipment is maintained and ready to go. That means fewer delays and lower costs for your project.
We know Portland's ground.
Portland's soil conditions — from the heavy clay in East Portland to the rocky terrain in West Linn — require local knowledge and experience. We've worked across the entire metro area and understand what each site demands.
We're licensed, bonded, and insured.
We carry full general liability insurance and a surety bond through the Oregon Construction Contractors Board (CCB #268549). Your project is protected.
We clean up after ourselves.
When we leave your property, it looks better than when we arrived. Site cleanup is included in every project — not charged as an extra.
